The GWR built large numbers of bow ended corridor coaches from 1925. Most
were 57ft long and arranged in sets of 6 coaches - Brk 3rd, 3rd,
comp,comp,3rd,brk 3rd. On brakes and comps there were left and right handed
versions so corridor could be on one side throughout train.
Most survived till about 1960 andsome were converted into departmetal use
and some have now been preserved..
