 3 coach EMU  originally built by the LMS for the North London line and the Watford to London suburban services, as well as the Liverpool to Southport service

two units were converted in the 1950s into motor baggage coaches for the Southport line

One of two GEC electic EMU coaches converted durng 1950s into motor baggage coaches for Southport line, to replace original L&Y units. 

This is 59ft version, based on original motor coach, and renumbered as number M28496M
